L-SHAPED DORMER
Dormer lofts are the most versatile type of loft conversion, as they can be built on a wide range of homes, including detached, semi-detached and terraced properties. They create more additional floor and head space by extending the roof, and most of the time will end up making your loft the largest room in the house.
HIP TO GABLE
Hip-to-Gable loft conversions are suitable for properties that have three separate slanting sides on the roof, usually on semi-detached and detached houses. The side part of the roof is made vertical, which increases the amount of space within the loft.
L SHAPE MANSARD
Mansard loft conversions are stunning, however require a considerable change to the structure of the roof. They usually are finished with a flat roof with the back sloped at 72 degrees, giving you in all intents ands purposes a whole new floor to your property.
